Wesley C. Bangs

ChFC® CRPC® CDFA® Wealth Manager

Wesley C. Bangs has worked in the financial services industry since 1999. Prior to joining Momentum Independent Network, he received extensive training and held advisory positions with several major financial institutions, including A.G. Edwards & Sons, Wachovia Securities, Wells Fargo Advisors, and Merrill Lynch.

Over more than two decades in the industry, Wesley's practice has evolved from traditional investment management into a comprehensive financial planning approach focused particularly on individuals and families approaching or living in retirement.

Advanced Financial Planning Education

Wesley holds three professional designations that complement his experience and areas of specialization:

Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®)
Advanced education in comprehensive financial planning, including retirement planning, investments, taxation, insurance and risk management, and estate planning.

Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® (CRPC®)
Earned in 2008, with specialized education focused on retirement planning, retirement income, and the financial decisions individuals face before and throughout retirement.

Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®)
Earned in 2011, providing specialized training in analyzing the financial implications of divorce and helping individuals and their attorneys evaluate settlement decisions.

A Comprehensive Approach to Retirement

Wesley believes successful retirement planning requires looking beyond individual investments.

His planning approach focuses on what he calls The Three Pillars of Retirement Confidence:

INCOME — Your Retirement Paycheck
Understanding where your retirement income will come from and how your different income sources can work together.

TAXES — Keeping More of What You Earn
Evaluating tax-aware strategies and how today's financial decisions may affect your long-term and lifetime tax picture.

RISK — Protecting What You've Built
Understanding how much investment risk you're taking, how much you actually need to take, and how market declines could affect your retirement strategy.

Because these areas are interconnected, Wesley evaluates them together as part of a coordinated financial strategy built around each client's individual goals and circumstances.

A Personalized, Disciplined Process

Before making recommendations, Wesley takes the time to understand the client's entire financial picture—not simply an investment portfolio.

That means understanding where you are today, what matters most to you, what you want retirement to look like, and the financial decisions that may stand between you and those goals.

From there, Wesley develops a coordinated strategy and provides ongoing guidance as markets, tax laws, family circumstances, and financial needs change.

The objective is straightforward: bring clarity and direction to your financial life and help you make informed decisions about the future you've worked to build.
